As Salam o Alikum....
Dear sisters and brothers..!One day our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stood up in the depths of the night and he raised up his hands up to Allah and said, "O Allah..! My Ummah, My Ummah, Ya Allah..! My Ummah My Ummah, My Ummah........"
he couldn't say more than that because he was so emotional and he was crying and went on crying, until the night passed, Fajar time came, the angel Jibreel (A.S) came down to Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said, "Oh Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Allah have sent me, Allah have said that he will not disappoint you regarding your Ummah, your lord will not disappoint you regarding your Ummah."
Ummah*=The whole Muslim community bound together.
The question arises, dear brothers and sisters....
"Are we disappointing our Prophet (peace be upon him) ??" ,
he one who loved his Ummah so much that whenever he prayed he always used to pray for his Ummah. Once he said,
Allah has given one dua to every single messenger, that he has guaranteed that he will respond to, and every single Prophet (peace be upon them) has used up this dua for himself in this world, except for me. I have saved it and I have not used it and I will not use it in this life. I have kept it for my Ummah and I will use it for them on the day of judgement and my dua will be.....O Allah, forgive my entire Ummah.Beautiful sisters and brothers..
Now this blog is about some beautiful reminders.....which Allah have sent to us so that we can repent and turn back to Allah because to sin is to be human but to repent is to be a MUSLIM..
The most beautiful blessing we have been given is the chance to repent. This era, brothers and sisters, is one of those eras where so many Muslims are so much indulged in the world that they have even forgot their identity.
According to Qur'aan, chapter 87, verse 16,17 :
But you prefer the worldly life, while the hereafter is better and more enduring.Brothers and sisters sincere repentance, according to the scholars is:
- Giving up the sin.
- Regretting the sin.
- Sincerity in repentance.
- Not committing the sin again.
- To correct what went wrong.
Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic monotheism ) and do righteous deeds , for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful. In Qur'an chapter 66, verse 8, Allah Almighty says,
O You who believe..! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance.! It may be that your lord will remit you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which river flows (paradise). In Qur'an chapter 42, verse 40, Allah says,
The reward of the evil is evil thereof but whosoever forgives and make amends, his reward is upon Allah.Lets keep this in our mind that The Almighty Allah, himself is,
- Al-Ghafoor (the most forgiving), mentioned in Qur'an for about 70 times.
- Al-Tawwab (the acceptor of repentance), mentioned in Qur'an for about 11 times.
- Al-Rahman, Al-Raheem (the most Merciful and compassionate), mentioned in Qur'an for about 115 times.
Lets repent and lets not disappoint our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
